Today I went for the physics 2009 A level paper 2, and I kinda screwed it up. I think I accidentally wrote 'ln' when I am supposed to write 'lg'. Idk how much damage I will take due to that error, but I think I will expect more marks to be lost because I did not include some key terms as I was rushing through and I did not complete some other questions as I did not have time.

On the side note I got quite a shock when I did the A level paper for 2007, I got a shock too! I did not know how to do the explanations. I had the rough idea but I did not know what had to be included or how to go about explaining it.

Today, though, the new washing machine arrived. The old onewas was making weird sounds when the tumbler thing stopped spinning. The old one isn't old either, it has just exceeded the warrenty period of one year and now repairing it costs more than buying a new one. Seriously, I don't get this fucked up logic. If repairing costs more than buying a new one, then it shouldn't be called repairing at all. The repairman concluded that there're 3 components that's faulty. changing the buttons (as a few were unresponsive) would cost $200, it COULD be reasonable, but I don't see why it will cost $200 as with our level of technology one such part could be manufactured with a cost of production of $20. Then comes the high pitched 'braking' sound. He said it poses no problem/hazard, but fixing it will cost another $200! I really wonder if he's fixing shit or is he trying to replace the whole component. Then comes the water drainage/dispensing issue (i not sure which one he was referring to). It'll cost another $100, but by than my mum decided not to keep the washing machine and had to pay $40 to the repairman for coming over. IMO, the repairman just doesn't want to repair. I think he's just trying to earn the $40 as repairing probably isn't as lucrative. Anyway, this "$40" is too high a cost for us to find a few repairman (and hopefully dispell my suspecion/find a honest one) to give the right price for fixing it. Then again, he could be under the orders of his company to just declare that it's unfixable so that we'll buy a new one, hence for them to earn profits. I don't know, but either way it's fucked up.

It has been like 3 months since i last posted anything. I've haven't been doing much. I don't know why, but i screwed up my economics and chemistry in my prelims. I expected my economics to be at least a pass, but it turns out it's a fail. I expected my chemistry to be way better, but I got a marginal pass. I think someone pryed open my brain and used a stun gun on my brain, hence resetting my knowledge. I don't know.

It's the A level exams recently, and frankly, I'm very ill prepared. Reading the notes desperate to get as much as I can out of them since it'll probably be the last time i'm looking at them, I can't help but think that alot of effort hads been put in by the tutors(teachers) and if i don't do well, it'll be wasting their efforts. Chemistry paper 3 didn't go well. When asked to label DEFG, i labelled ABCD. I'm not sure if they'll give me the mark, if not, that's one whole chuck of a question gone XD. Math paper 1 didn't go well either. I mean, I did practice other school paper but i still kinda screwed up. Either I don't even know the approach to take, or that i lost marks due to carelessness. Oh well. As for general paper, I feel that what i wrote is inadequate to secure good marks no matter how i write. So far i've completed about half my exams, and i feel that it isn't well done. But I really want to get good results. I guess it's my fault for not putting in effort earlier and in times like now when I should be studying. Tomorrow's chemistry paper 2. Better go grind on books later on.

4 days ago, my younger brother didn't want a sticker my mum brought for him a few years ago, so he decided on a day a few year later, he will stick it onto a packet of potato chips so that it'll be thrown away with the chips. Innovative eh. Oh, the sticker had a peliper (evolved form of wingull) with a shiny pink background.

So, I guess that concludes this blog post. It's not much, but still it pretty much wraps up my monotonous life which is fll of indecisiveness, wrong decisions and probably lots of procrastination.
